As summer comes to a close, we slow dance in the sweet golden hum of autumn, and use the change of seasons as an invitation to turn inward, come home to our bodies and savour life’s inherent sweetness & beauty. This retreat is a journey of rediscovering that which reveals a deep sense of joy within us and moves us closer to our natural, unconditioned state - love.
This is a more intimate retreat experience with just 10 guests, where you will be lovingly guided and deeply supported by two experienced and highly skilled teachers.

LOCATION
The Chettinad Retreat, nestled on 25.000 square meters of private land, is a peaceful haven in the hills overlooking a rural valley on the island of Ibiza. The beautiful, quiet hillside property features a centuries-old restored finca, one adobe cottage, two detached stone dwellings, and a large terraced swimming pool with double sun loungers and a large outdoor dining area. The retreat centre also features a unique geodesic Yoga Dome specifically designed for retreat groups. Its luminous and airy volume, tranquil interior, and views of the verdant countryside enhance a sense of well-being during practice.


Ibiza’s magnetic, vibrant energy and stunning landscape truly offers the perfect location for a retreat. Early October is a gorgeous time to visit the island (the owner of the venue - a local - tells me it is the time). As the crowds clear, it starts to embody a slower pace; with average temperatures of 25 degrees, it is warm enough for time by the pool, alfresco meals, many ocean dips in the balearic waters and beach time, but also as the heat isn’t so intense, we can also enjoy some gorgeous hikes and sit around the fire in the evening and watch Ibiza's extraordinary sunsets.
Flights are really affordable at this time of year & you can fly direct from Bristol in under 2 hours.

YOUR HOSTS

TAYLER
My entire life is inspired by and led from the wisdom of yoga. My practice is living, breathing and embodied; it continuously allows me to navigate both the beauty and complexity of this life with greater joy, ease, trust and humility. It is from a place of deep reverence and devotion that I am a facilitator - I practice daily. My practices are guided from the heart and the knowing that each body in the space is already completely Whole, yet completely unique. My style of teaching is intuitive, nourishing, playful and fluid. My offerings are often inspired by nature's elements and are fundamentally about guiding people back to the felt sense of their own aliveness and the deep stillness of their natural, unconditioned state. I see movement and stillness as both doorways to freedom and my teaching is supported and inspired by 1000s of hours of training across Yoga (vinyasa, ashtanga vinyasa, hatha, restorative), Pilates (mat & reformer with Polestar Pilates), somatics, myofascial release and the luminous philosophy of non-dual shaiva tantra.

ALICE
Rooted in curiosity for the mystery and primality of the body and voice, my work moves through the layers of our human experience - physical, emotional and spiritual. Having travelled and trained extensively across the world with over 500 hours of yoga training, holistic bodywork and somatic, embodiment & movement training - I continue to cultivate an understanding of how we express, release, and return to self through body. Through touch, voice or movement, it all becomes a dialogue of listening and transformation. Much of what pulls me into this multi-layered work is the rediscovery of meaning, the kind that roots us into devotion. Layering anything with intention gives greater purpose. Here through heart and lived experience, my practice is born from a desire to support the alchemy of transformation. Much of my curiosity, viewed through a female lens, leaves me devoted to a world where women are listening to their own inquiry and self leadership. The dance in expression. Through each twist, turn, texture, mirror, ache, longing - it has a place. Leading the body to greater receptivity, in trusting that softening aids our natural rhythm. I trust the power and radical worth of a woman’s heart, body and voice more than anything. Truly. When the acknowledgment of the raw feminine emerges, it becomes the driving force to new worlds of creation and belonging.
