Join Tayler & Melis for a weekend of nourishment and relaxation at the gorgeous Holwell Holistic Retreat in North Devon. Here is your invitation to lovingly tend to your wellbeing through embodied yoga, meditation, abundant nature, coastal walks, sea swims, seasonal & delicious whole foods, pilates and deep restoration.
This time of year naturally invites us to turn our awareness inward, and find a deep sense of rest, softness and introspection - making it a beautiful and poignant time to go deeper into your practice. As the golden hum of autumn starts to draw in on us, we cannot think of a better time to invite you to relax back into your natural state, and feel at home in your own skin. Always rooted in the core teachings of yoga, the theme of this retreat is remembering the deep, underlying sense of wellbeing that is with us in every moment.
Our deepest intention is that in our company, you feel held and spacious in equal measure. We hope you leave the retreat feeling whole, inspired, rested and connected.
Holwell is really the perfect venue for a November retreat - with woodburners in every bedroom, as well as a dreamy living room with a big open fire and lots of blankets and books. There is a woodfired sauna, an outdoor fire pit in the woods where we can enjoy raw cacao hot chocolates under the stars. The yoga shala is an eco-build and has underfloor heating and all the gorgeous props like bolsters and blankets. We are really so excited to have you xx

Tayler and Melis' spring awakening retreat was one of the most grounding experiences I have ever had. The pair's ability to hold space, whilst seamlessly ensuring that each person was taken care of meant there was an overwhelming sense within the group that we'd found something really special. Tayler guided us through powerful moments of self-reflection, giving us just enough space to process thoughts and emotions individually, whilst gently holding our hands throughout. Melis managed to cater for over 16 people, providing countless dietary requirements and intricacies across the varying menus that she curated. Each person felt taken care of, and is an experience I will hold in my heart forever.
Tayler believes that Yoga is a living, breathing, full-bodied practice. A practice that supports us in finding deeper connection, meaning & balance within our bodies, our relationships and the wider world.
Yoga shapes Tayler's life ... it is always felt, never performed and it is from a place of feeling and sensing that she facilitates each class. Tayler’s teaching style is intuitive, nourishing, non-judgmental, heart-felt and fluid. Her classes are always evolving with life and dance between tradition and the never ending revelation of each moment.
In terms of the twice daily practices, this retreat will offer a balance of Vinyasa, Pilates, Meditation and Rest. Tayler thoughtfully weaves non-dual philosophical teachings, as a consistent thread throughout the retreat. The morning Vinyasa classes will invite you to feel deeply into your own unique body with energising, playful, dynamic movement. The evening practices will nourish and support you into very deep and embodied Rest. Tayler feels compelled to share the importance of prioritising uninterrupted time to rest back into the wholeness of being. We will meditate in the sweet company of Mother Nature every morning.
from our wonderful chef and dining host, Melis...
Some of our fondest memories are spent around a dining table with good company, so providing our guests with an unforgettable dining experience is particularly important to us. During the retreat, we want to use mealtimes as a means to bring us together, connect, reflect and unwind as the days begin and end. Considering the physical nature of deep and energising yoga practice, we want to offer seasonal, homemade food that is both nutritious and nourishing (here to remind you that truly healthy & nourishing food, can taste absolutely amazing).
Think warming, hearty autumnal veg-centric dishes, seasonal fruits, homemade granola and energy balls, dips, flatbreads and warming golden mylk. All food will be vegetarian and vegan, and we will cater to dietary requirements accordingly. We are also excited to offer the option of to enjoy a gin and tonic made using local small batch gin (best enjoyed by the fire pit under the stars!) .
